Lititz Flooring Company Announces Key Leadership Positions Amid Sustained, Continued Growth of the AVA and Capri Collections Brands

As part of our ongoing restructuring to support the dynamic growth of Lititz Flooring Company, we are proud to announce two strategic leadership positions that reflect the exceptional talent within our organization.

Travis Whipple has been named Vice President of Sales.
Travis has played a pivotal role in expanding our national presence, supporting over 100 sales reps across the U.S. and Canada. Known for his high energy and deep product knowledge, Travis brings a hands-on approach to leadership — balancing a demanding travel schedule while remaining fully accessible to our team and clients. His commitment ensures Lititz Flooring remains a trusted name in the commercial flooring and wall covering industries. "Travis has proven time and again that he’s not just a leader — he’s a catalyst" said Lititz Flooring Cofounder and President, Dave Cipalla. "This position reflects the impact he’s already made and the direction we are heading."

Daniel Ortiz has been named Director of Technical Services.
Daniel has long been a critical resource for both our team and our partners. With a background as a commercial installer and project manager, he brings firsthand job site experience to every phase of a project — from specification support to post-installation maintenance. Daniel will continue to lead technical training sessions at the Lititz Flooring Training Center and provide on-site support when needed. His ability to bridge product knowledge with real-world application makes him indispensable to our mission of delivering successful, lasting installations. "Daniel’s technical expertise, work ethic, and deep understanding of our clients’ needs have made him an essential part of this company" said Cipalla. "This title simply reflects what we’ve all known — he’s a leader in every sense."

Welcome Bob

March 2025

Lititz Flooring Company is pleased to announce that Bob Racioppi has joined our team as Director of Business Development.

Having started in the flooring industry in the mid 1980s, Bob has a wide range of experience and industry knowledge making him an excellent fit for his position at Lititz Flooring. Living in northern New Jersey, Bob is well established in the commercial flooring sector in the Northeast Corridor which he will be managing for Lititz Flooring.

Dave Cipalla, Lititz Flooring Co-founder and President, stated “I am happy to welcome Bob to the Lititz Flooring team. His work ethic and strong values on supporting our reps and customers will immediately fit with our unique management team and beliefs. I am confident Bob will begin contributing on day one.”

Warwick Warriors Holiday Tournament

February 2025

Continuing a tradition that began in 2018, Lititz Flooring again sponsored the Warwick Warriors Men’s High School Basketball 2024 Holiday Tournament. As the tournament’s longstanding sponsor, Lititz Flooring is committed to uplifting the local community by encouraging excellence both on and off the court. Warwick High School, located in the heart of Lititz, PA, has cultivated a basketball program recognized for its outstanding achievements. Warwick basketball runs deep at Lititz Flooring with President Dave Cipalla and his family. Dave’s wife Krista and sons Jordan and Kai, all played basketball at Warwick High School.

By supporting the Warwick Holiday Tournament, Lititz Flooring celebrates the hard work and dedication of local athletes and affirms Lititz Flooring‘s commitment to fostering strong connections within the local community. The Warwick Tournament represents the values of perseverance, teamwork, and community spirit; all qualities that Lititz Flooring is proud to champion.

Warwick Warriors basketball is off to an incredible start in the 2024-2025 season with an impressive record and 93.8% winning percentage.

Run Hope Work

January 2025

Last month, Lititz Flooring volunteered time, material and knowledge to assist Run Hope Work make improvements at the Covenant House DC, a youth homeless shelter in the DC area.

Founded in 2014, Run Hope Work (RHW) aims to uplift DC’s young adults by providing them with pathways out of financial poverty. The initiative is designed to equip them with employable skills training and certification, fostering their development into the next generation of business and social leaders.

Under the leadership of Lititz Flooring Technical Manager, Daniel Ortiz, this was Lititz Flooring’s third year of training a group at Run Hope Work, further solidifying our commitment to social responsibility.
